Slight haze on the pale yellow brew with abundant foam in the nonic. Plush carbonation with a tang on the tongue. Flavors of melon and dark berries with a citrus twist. Light bitter edge with a touch of astringency in the aftertaste. Fruity but not very sweet.
The brewing notes show a dose of Santiam hops along with the Strata. Overall this is quite pleasant for a flavorful gulp. Lush and fruity. More like a light Pale Ale but I guess it's a "modern Pilsner." From the 16 oz can purchased at Mollie Stone.
