Not every beer should be dank, or hazy, or (add beer superlative here). Sometimes you need to get back to the basics. And HH fills the bill. A QUALITY pilsner!

Mostly clear pale white gold with a fairly short white head that quickly dies to a thin ring.
A mild, semi-bitter grassiness meets a nondescript toastiness.
There's something a bit odd about it giving off a kind of burnt aftertaste, which I'm not sure is from the can, or the beer itself.

It's not a looker but boy does this hit all the right notes taste wise and feel wise for a German pilsner. I am curious as to why the ABV is at 4% but what do I know. Would make for a great 6 pack pick up if it was priced cheaper, but right now the stovepipe cans for this taking up shelf space might be doing this one a disservice. Fantastic pilsner and much preferred over the hoppier pilsners they make at BB.
