750 ml growler
Served in a HOMES wine glass
This beer pours plum colored and looks like juice. It is topped with an inch of pink head that leaves little lacing.
It smells like tart raspberry juice. Hints of sweet vanilla.
It has a gigantic raspberry flavor. It is tart. I get some vanilla.
Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel
This is a nice version of the Metaform series. It is at the top of the list for sure.

Canned on 5/25/20; consumed on 7/5/20
Pours an opaque, bright pinkish raspberry-hued body topped with multiple fingers of pillowy, rosé-hued foam; good head retention leaves just shy of a finger of fluffy cap, moderate, frothy collar, and a temporary array of dense, webby lacing strewn around the glass.
Aroma opens with vibrant raspberry tart rounded with an airy, estery quality upfront as hints of fresh vanilla offer a more refined sweetness into the middle; a touch of grass comes through as hints of spent vanilla beans integrate softly in the background, especially towards the back end of the bouquet, though never approach the prominence or depth of the raspberry.
Taste shows a soft raspberry sorbet note meeting fresh raspberries off the vine, a herbal quality still vaguely intact, as semi-acidic lactic vanilla moves across the mid-palate; earthy hops and hints of pineapple and orange peel sneak through on the back end against a still-dominant raspberry tone.
Mouthfeel features a body on the higher end of medium along with a subtle lower-end carbonation; a fluffy texture edges toward the mid-palate, after which the most subtle grit presents as it is overrun by quiet acidity building throughout the profile for a tart punch on the finish and contrasting a dryness past the swallow.
Rounded and fruit-forward, this presents as more of a fruit ale/IPA hybrid, if not an outright Fruit/Field Beer; undeniable, though, is a casual competence and overarching balance throughout; an enjoyable drinking experience marked by a quiet restraint, no matter how you choose to classify the beer itself.
