L: A super black shade of brown, with a caramel frothy head that seemed to last forever, and had wonderful lacing.
S: Aroma is of a dry oatmeal stout, with dark malts, and a wet stone note.
T: On the sweet side of off-dry (perfect sugar). Earthy and wine-barrel qualities. Lovely.
F: Clearly we’ll-oated, well-coating, and a medium weight that is impressively chewy for the ABV, and with good carbonation.
O: Wow I loved this more than most barrel-aged imperial stouts! Really impressed with this unique oatmeal stout.
Update: Tried again a year later with the same feelings. Raised the mouthfeel by a quarter point.
