Copenhagen 20/9 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Light yellow can with a jubilant fellow, a lot of fruit and a Teddy bear. Mystifying.

Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as lumpy patches of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a dry, bitter scent. Passion fruit and mango. Tropical fruit juice. Grapefruit and blood orange.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. A little rough. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

An Indian Pale Ale with a quite heavy flavoring with Tropical fruits.

Half pour at the Duke of York. Hazy golden with small foamy head. Light juicy aroma, citrus. Taste is a bit more fruity, with some dry bitterness. Almost juicy in the NEIPA style.

Pours a hazy orange with fine head.

Smell is fruity with notes of mango, citrus, pineapple and passionfruit.

Taste is fruity with a soft bittterness and notes of mango, citrus and passionfruit. Some crackery and mineral hints in the back.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a nice and drinkable fruited IPA.

440ml Can from Morrisons (£3):
Hazy golden to amber with a 1cm, bubbly white head that settles as a bubbly surface lacing. It's very fruity & juicy smelling with lots of mango, peach & pineapple with passionfruit, tropical notes & a little strawberry. It's toned down slightly with the taste thankfully but I still got lots of mango, pineapple & tropical sweetness with some sugars too & it still feels a little overdone. It's a light medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation & a little fizz to it but it was fairly one dimensional with the mango dominating through then a sofa water like finish.

Pours a fairly hazy light orange coloured body with thick white head
Aroma is overblitzed oj
Flavour is watered down pineapple and mango

Tried again in Nov 2022 and Aug 2023. Sadly still one-dimensional and over-done.
———————————————————————————-
440ml can.
L: Orange cordial with a very short-lived head.
S: Carton pineapple juice.
T: Supermarket carton tropical fruit juice almost (but not quite) saved by a dank, herbal edge.
F: Mango juice with a big splash of soda water.
O: All fruit (pineapple & mango), not enough beer.
