Poured from 500mL bottle into a dimpled mug. Bottled 8/16/21.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a crystal-clear body and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. I think it looks great.
Smell: quite malty with a little bit of sweetness and a bit of a biscuity character. It has an appropriately autumnal aroma and I quite like it.
Taste: a little bit of sweetness, but not too sweet; there's a good malt flavor here and a toasty / biscuity malt character. Usually I'm not a huge fan of this, but this beer is so balanced it really works for me. Bitterness is relatively reserved, but still present.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: this is quite a good festbier; I could absolutely see drinking this by the liter.
