As close to an IPA as you can get without being a true IPA. Extra hops are added to an already tasty pale ale giving it a nice bitter, but not overwhelming taste, with hints of grapefruit.

This beer was creamy and rich with an easy drinking, chewy and bready quality with well balanced hoppiness which was offset nicely with a touch of malt sweetness. I loved it. Did not have a usual Pale Ale profile. I had a hard time thinking of it as a Pale Ale, especially with the higher ABV. It felt more like an APA with smooth hops
