West Coast IPA
CSB's first true IPA. Not overly aggressive, but certainly packs a punch. A must try for any hop head. Our secret use of hop variety adds just the right mix of floral bitterness and malty sweetness.
80 IBU

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a plastic cup. It pours a hazy, copper-orange with a small, foamy, ecru-colored head and soapy lacing. The smell offers sweet, bready malt, pine needles, and spices. Its taste is characterized by a good balance of sweet caramel malt and bitter resinous pine (80 IBU). There is very little noticeable fruit presence - just a hint of lemon in the background. I really like the mouth feel; it's nicely thick and creamy with mild carbonation and it's easil drinkable at 7% ABV. Overall, Finley Forge is a good example of a malty, bitter IPA. To me it's not really a West Coast variant but I enjoyed it.
