Opaque dark brown color. Chunks of yeast if poured all the way. Explosive foamy brown 4-5 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with poor legs but a very strong swirl reaction. Flavors of coffee, chocolate, oatmeal, plums, dark grains, walnuts, Belgian yeast, and herbal spices. Creamy medium body with extra crispy carbonation, way too much for a standard stout because it's almost champagne like! Medium strength finish, with moderate chalky dry roasted effect. What I find treacherous about this one is the foaming doesn't stop! Had a hard time pouring this one because of this, damn dark elves! At least the freshness is very high for a stout so the drinkability and accessibility is good. Mellows down with time making a very good quality craft overall.

Bottled Aug. 1, 2016.
Pours a very black-brown body with a tan head and tight foam. Flavor is surprisingly light as is the body. Lingering roasted notes throughout with hints of coffee. Label says it's a mix between a black beer and a white beer; not sure what that means. It's good actually and the ABV isn't felt but given the look of the beer i expected a bit more depth overall. But for a first offering, it's pretty decent.
