Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a standard pint glass, this beer draws a fairly cloudy/hazy light to medium golden color with a white head that’s about 2/3 of an inch thick when first drawn and served. Settles eventually to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass. Not really any lacing here. Aromas of some bready malts and wheat along with a nice slightly sour, tart barnyard funk note. A very similar flavor profile here, with some bready malts and wheat that give way to a slightly sour, tart barnyard funk note with a hint of salt. Not any discernible hop flavors here, and that’s to be expected. Spot on flavor wise for this style. Has a crisp, slightly prickly, smooth, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean, slightly dry finish. The wheat and the slightly sour and funky taste linger nicely for the aftertaste.
