Having this beer in-tap at the brewery. Served in a weizen glass, this beer draws a very hazy/cloudy light golden color with a white head that’s about half an inch thick when first drawn and served that settles fairly quickly to a fairly thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some nice lacing. Aromas of some bready, slightly toasted, malts along with wheat and some hints of caramel sweetness. The taste is quite similar, with the bready malts, wheat, and caramel sweetness. A very light hop note is also hanging around somewhere that’s just detectable by my palate, but just barely. Pretty spot on overall for the flavor profile, and well balanced. Has a fairly crisp, also fairly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and the flavors linger nicely for the aftertaste. A good beer all around.
