12oz can from Total Wine (Kennesaw, GA). 2.49. Canned 8/28/18. Served in a Scofflaw snifter. Enjoyed 9/27/18.
Pours a muted deep pink and rests in the glass a purple-leaning chestnut. A modest bubbly ecrue head fizzles away, leaving a modest edging as the only retention.
Aromas of raspberry, cereal and some faint spice.
Tastes like seedy berries, cereal, hay, a faint floral note and vague spice.
Soft, velvety medium body with moderate carbonation. Notes of berry cereal (almost Frankenberry) in the finish.
Scofflaw has a little fun with their Sneaky Wheatwheat. Sneaky Razz is a dialed back, berry infused version that is quite easy to drink.

12 ounce can - Charlie's Beer & Wine in Marietta, Georgia.
08/13/2018.
Appearance: Pours a hazed, reddish-pink-tawny amber body with a thin, off-white head.
Smell: Piquant, lightly tart raspberries floating atop a wheat-laden stew of maltiness.
Taste: It's got a discernible, upfront richness, there's that firm albeit creamy wheat with the nicely acidic raspberry juiciness cutting through. It's sweet with being needlessly and unpleasantly sugar and the raspberry flavor comes through graciously without going into that exacerbating medicinal thing you sometimes get (though it'd be very easy to do if it lined up with the alcohol content). Nearing the end, it's little bursts of coagulated wheat malt, tangy berries and some alcohol heat.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Let's talk turkey, I most certainly did NOT like Sneaky Wheat whatsoever, I thought it to be hot and gloopy. A mess, really. Seeing this curtailed the ABV somewhat, I thought I'd give it a go and I'm pleased I did. Say, Scofflaw, since you've presented some of the raspberry's better qualities and straightened up the underlying wheat beer, whaddya say we ditch the ole Sneaky Wheat in favor of this?
