Expecting a brown or black beer, a bright gold orb comes before me with a minimal white blanket.
The aroma exhibits tons of dry roasted coffee, like a whole damn tin of ground coffee--something about this style really unexpectedly amplifies the aroma of coffee like no other I've experienced, but not necessarily in the best way. I also get a little toasted sunflower seed and a touch of lemon rind.
Taste is tart pear, white cheddar, and loads of that dusty coffee, with touches of lemon and melon.
Caf-FIEND is quite fluffy, with a dry finish.
