From a 16oz can, undated. IG shows a 01/17/24 release. Purchased at the brewery 02/29/24. Served in a cervoise.
Pours a cloudy orange with a scant quarter-finger of fizzy head which implodes instantly.
Nose is sharp and fruity with everything the can says: mango, key lime and, dammit, pie.
Taste is as advertised: mango-key lime pie. It’s stupidly delicious. Sweet and no more tart than you’d expect sweetened lime to be.
Feel is clean and irresistibly drinkable. Medium bodied with bright, semi-aggressive carbonation. A little sour warmth in the gullet.
I can’t defend myself: I love these Grandma Fingers ‘beers.’ Beers in quotes because really there’s nothing remotely beer-like about them. They’re just liquid candy.
