This is a more balanced, less intensely marshmallow-forward version of Out of Season, with a very welcome tart fruit presence that adds a bit of herbal complexity, and crisps up the body a little bit.
I've since enjoyed my crowler, and found the tart seedy blackberry to actually blend into cranberry, red grape and raspberry characteristics as well, with a soft, smooth froth through the medium-light body that has a stinging sourness that's a bit more peppy than most of their offerings, but still tame compared to some of the harsher sour breweries out there. The semi-dry swallow brings out a toasted marshmallow exhale.
