Black pour with ruby edges at 54 degrees; quick tan cap; no cap retention, no ring, no lace; flecks of coconut floating on top; thick heavy legs. Nose is chocolate and coconut; boozy whiskey exhale; vanilla; toasted marshmallow s’mores. Sweet chocolate fudge, marshmallow, graham cracker, vanilla and loads of toasted coconut; boozy rye whiskey, white oak middle, followed by dark fruit - plums and sugared raisins; black pepper on the backend. Slick viscous feel; full minus body, decadent yet short of syrupy; medium minus carbonation; no warmth from 11% abv; dry rye finish. Overall, awesome; not adjuncty, good balance between barrel and additions; layers of sweet s’mores, burnt marshmallows, dark chocolate, toasted coconut and booze - a wow beer!

Solid adjunct stout. Dark black body, half finger mocha head. Lots of vanilla and chocolate, bit of cocoa. Touch of roast. Medium body, good carbonation. Missing the coconut here.

Viscous used motor oil black with a short mocha blanket that creamily retains for a minute before settling to a thin fine chain.

An intensely rye whiskey nose gives the excitingly false impression that it will be too whiskey forward, bringing with it some heat and a potently spicy and toasty charred oak character.

But on the palate, the richly silky smooth, full body brings luscious dark chocolate with coconut waffle cone that mellows out the just perfectly present rye barrel to a refined decadence, similar to that which they started nailing around their 3rd anniversary beer.

The carbonation is fine, then expanding to an almost filling fluff, bringing up touches of marshmallow with hints of cinnamon from the barrel before a semi-sticky finish.
