From a 16oz can, undated. IG shows 05/17/23 release so, what? a little over 3 weeks ago. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a hazy, dull apricot color with two-plus fingers of soft cream colored foam. Retention is good, leaving a soapy cap and loose, big-bubbled sticky lacing.
Nose is fruity, yeasty. Aroma of composting oranges.
Taste is harsh and composty, dirty orange peels and stale bread, mashed overripe red berries and canned pears in syrup. Yogurt-like aftertaste.
Feel is juicy, medium-thin bodied and sticky with bright, near-aggressive carbonation. Some oaty slickness, slippery feeling. Boozy warmth.
Overall, not great.
