From a 16oz can, undated. (IG looks like 03/31/23 release date). Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a hazy sunshiney gold with three fingers of loose and sloppy, big-bubbled sea foam-like suds. Retention is good, leaving a spit-like cap and scattered gobs of bubbly lacing.
Nose is yeasty and citrusy. Aroma of sweet orange and yeasty bread roll.
Taste is dry, pithy and woody, bitter, soapy, alkaline. Tasting grapefruit, orange peel, sandalwood and baking soda with a flowery, coconutty vapor in the sinuses.
Feel is dry, drying, medium-light bodied and brightly carbonated. Did I already say it was dry? Alkaline dryness.
Overall, it’s OK. FWIW I probably would have pegged the abv at less than 6.5% - especially since it’s not printed anywhere on the can.
