Pastel red with a light film of carbonation on top.
A little barnyard hay kicks off the nose, but this is accompanied by soft Sweet Tarts and plum. Werther's surfaces at temp.
In flavor, a little of that beet earthiness is present, yet is also sweet, like a plum. Butter arises as it warms.
Tangy, slightly spicy, but light and refreshing--a surprising attribute for beets. Not my first beet beer, but a unique take nonetheless.
