Pale gold but mostly clear with a thin film fading to a thin ring.
Smell is fragrantly oaky paired with a melange of citric acids--lemon, grapefruit, orange and peach.
This Reserve version has a smooth and complex flavor bringing a nice tartness exhibiting lemon-lime and orange with a spicy, peppery sharp funk, grass and cheesy biscuit. The last part sounds odd but it's quite good.
Full-bodied with a round feel, a balanced sourness and a semi-wet, tingly finish.
This was competing with Pomegranate Berliner and Oro Blanco for my favorite of the day. But then, oh shoot, here comes BA Blackberry and Dynamo Fuzz! Good problems to have!
