Foggy burnt maize with a short off-white head settling to an uneven film and slanted ridge.
A sharply stinging funk verges near acetic, but this is mitigated on the back end with the unusual characteristics of damp even soggy biscuit and shortbread cookie. The acidity contains a hint of peppery cracker with some lemony grape skins, but the malt and barrel seem to play too well together, kind of muddling the barrel aging, exhaling light hints of oak with that wet biscuit.
The medium-light body has a fine yet dense carbonation, and finishes semi-dry with a little sting.
