Pours a clear golden color. There is very little carbonation. A very thin white head is created at first, but then goes away very quickly.
Smell has a nice biscuit wheat base. A bit of malt and sweet hop too. Much more smell than the usual cream ale.
Taste has more to it than the usual cream ale. A lot of things going on. A biscuity, straw base with a hop tinge at the end.
Mouthfeel is very nice. Good thickness and very smooth.
Drinkability is nice on this beer. Most cream ales are "poundable." However, this one is a little more complex, which makes you want to pound it. A great sessionable beer to introduce your buddies to craft beer.

Thanks to Brad for the pour of this one. Pours a light golden-yellow color with a good white head and a few bits of spotty lacing on the way down. The aroma carries some nice spice from the Belgian yeast plus a touch of doughy-bread. Light continental hops linger as well, especially as it warms. The flavor is really nice as the clove character from the yeast really comes through along with a light burst of floral and herbal hops. Really nicely down. Smooth and creamy, yet with a light body. Absolutely fantastic low-alcohol, warm-weather-drinking beer. Who knew a cream ale could taste good?

On tap @ the brewpub on 6/3/10. Served in a pint glass. This is a Cream Ale with Belgian candied syrup added.
Pours a clear golden straw color, with a thin covering of bright-white froth. This retains with more of a fizzy look and dissipates rather rapidly. The aroma is lightly sweet smelling in the nose with some notes of grain, honey, and fruit, while some hop activity adds herbal accents and a touch of spice to the proceedings.
The taste is similar to the aroma, with a sweet mix of lightly crisp toasted grains and that honeyed candy flavor adding a touch of a sugary feel to the profile. Hops give this some citric fruit accents and a bit of lighter earthy and herbal bitterness that trails off into the finish. The mouthfeel is light bodied, with a softer bubbly creaminess to that keeps this very easy feeling on the palate.
Interesting and flavorful for a lighter offering here at the brewpub, this was a crisp and easy drinking affair that I had no problem finishing at all.
