22oz bottle generously shared by nonstick. Poured into a Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary glass.
A - Pours a medium dark brown...opaque, dirty/muddy look to it. Only forms a low tan head, foamy collar and only manages to leave behind minor lacing on the glass.
S - Strong raspberry aroma up front. Behind the berries is a milk chocolatey base with some hints of sour and tart, earthiness, bit of yeast and some vanilla.
T - Raspberries and milk chocolate dominate, touches of vanilla and bourbon, and some earthy hops.
M - Lightish medium body, light bourbon alcohol tingle, mildly tart, very fruity, lowish carbonation.
O - Overall good. Nice raspberry flavors, mild bourbon...complex, well balanced and well integrated diverse flavors.

App- This was a very nice dark dark brown with a lot of bubbles. Maybe came to about ½ in of head and dissapated quickly. A little bit of lace and cling on this one.
Smell- Such a balance on the nose here. I love the soft raspberries on this. A bit of chocolate and a bit of malts. This was quite nice. If you wait just a little the vanilla and oak and bourbon comes in.
Taste- Damn, this this was so mellow and smooth! A very well done tasty beer with layers upon layers of flavor. CF7 had a ton of raspberry beers that was the most subdued and mellow of them all. Big chocolate, vanilla and oak balanced by the fruit.
Mouth- A medium almost thick bodied beer with a paired carbonation level. Great flavors remain but a chocolate raspberry is the biggest.
Drink- Damn this was good. Cant thank Jesse enough for this one. A very tasty beer in a day with a ton of tasty beers.

another great jackie o beer that i was able to try this weekend poured into a pint glass.
Poured a deep dark, opaque black with a huge tan head on top. Great rings of lace forming all around it. Huge smell of raspberries, chocolate and caramel, vanilla and bourbon with hints of wood and with some kinda weird dark fruitiness that seems to suggest plums as well. Flavor was huge, after the assault of chocolate dipped raspberries and cherry, a ton of roasted malts, lots of caramel and lactose were really strong on this. barrel everywhere with tons of booze in the finish. Very sugary and full. A slight taste of cookie dough in the finish. Very filling, but not too thick. This was a monster, and one that I really enjoyed.
