Enjoyed a pint at the Public House on 5-23-23 while having a very late lunch with Da Boss for $6.00.
Beer was served very light gold with an okay white head.
Nose was classic Saison phenolic forward.
Taste was a very light malt base in which i was getting notes of horseblanket and pepper. Bright and floral with a zesty dry finish. Did not get any Brett characteristics so must have been a straight up Saison yeast strain. Finished very balanced.
Mouthfeel was ultra-light and very refreshing.
Overall a really nicely made Saison!
