A - Pours black, tan-colored head, lacing
S - Chocolate, cherries, burnt sugars. The chocolate and cherries are excellent.
T - chocolate, oak, nutty notes, roast. Not as nice as the nose.
M - Medium to full, light carbonation, creamy finish.
O - I was so damn glad to get this beer. Great beer.

I had this on-tap at Jackie O's during the release this weekend. Poured into a sample glass.
Appearance: Pours black with a layer of tan head that fades to a ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell: Sweet and buttery with some cherry and roasty malt.
Taste: This is a really sweet beer, almost cloyingly so. Roasty with some coffee notes and a mild amount of cherry in there as well. There is a buttery flavor in the background as well. The finish is bitter and roasty.
Mouthfeel: The body is thick and syrupy with tingly carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: I thought this was a weird one for me. I'm not so sure everything worked together. The cherry and the buttery notes didn't quite fit. I'd probably pass on this one in the future.
