Poured from a growler into a shaped point glass. Appears a golden orange color with a thin white head. There is some decent lacing and a rim around the edge of the glass.
Nose is malt forward, with good yeast hints. Not really much apple in the nose. Slightly disappointing in that aspect. A slight balance, but not much bitterness. Taste is sweet up front, then becomes tart towards the end. More apple in the taste, but still not a lot.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, below average carbonation and is very drinkable. Overall, slightly disappointing. Was expecting more apple in the taste. Not a bad beer, but really wasn't what was advertised. Worth trying if you're there and have some time.

Appearance - Tan and yellow properties that allow the brew to look citrusy overall. It does have the appearance of apple cider.
Smell - A fizzy carbonated apple. Hints of Belgian yeast.
Taste - Extremely dry. A strong honey-apple taste. A vast variety and mix of apples. Red, Grannysmith and Golden-delicious are all noticeable. Quite tart and sour in certain instances. A heavy malt finish on a few of my sips. Faint spice as well.
Mouthfeel and drinkability - Extremely dry and crisp. Sort of a plain apple-filled brew with Belgian properties. Alcohol is barely noticeable.
