On tap at 3/2/2013 release event. Notes from taplist: "Providence saison conditioned with Brett C and lacto."
Light wheaty yellow color, looks like a berlinerweiss. Interestingly the appearance is significantly different from regular Providence.
Nose has moderate amount of lacto and brett, lemon citrus, bright flowers, hints of spice.
Tart but only mildly acidic, strong fruit quality, lemons and maybe bananas or apples or pears, mild brett in the finish but the brett is fairly subtle. Subtle and tasty sour.
Mouthfeel good but not remarkable, good carbonation but a pretty light body.
A really nice sour saison, probably my favorite of the new Jackie O's saisons along with the Aberrance.
