Appearance - Pours a hazy topaz with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, lemon, bready malts, and earthy brett yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The blackberry, strawberry, and raspberry are very mild. The lemon, bready malts, and earthy brett yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes tart with the fruits lingering.
Overall - A sessionable wild ale from Half Hitch. I wish the fruits were a little more predominant in this one as it would make it more of a stand out. Nonetheless, a nice find here in Cowtown!
