On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like heavily roasted malt, a little bit of smoke, and chocolate.
I imagine this would be decent on nitro, but it’s good on regular CO2, too. It’s quite roasty, and pretty nutty, with some chocolate, and a touch of smoky bitterness.
This is pretty creamy, a little thin, but very drinkable.
I had never heard of Asbury Park brewery before this, so I was intrigued. This was fairly decent, but nothing crazy.

Honestly, wasn't expecting much but I was impressed. Nice stout for a steak dinner. Good flavor especially for 4.9 ABV. Definitely would have out if I saw again.

Holy carbonation Batman! Pours black/brown with a medium tan head, lots of bubbles on the glass. Aroma is mild roasted and maybe a bit sour fruit. Taste is decent, a bit of fermented fruit, not bad, not great. Feel is okay, in line with Irish stout. Overall it's decent.

sampling a cellar temp 12 oz can poured into my snifter. The beer pours a dark cola brown color with a fluffy khaki colored head of 3 cm. The foam is a result of a fairly aggressive pour and fades slowly to a sturdy surface layer leaving large pockmarking craters as is sinks away. Dense lattice on the sides of my glass as I sip and swirl the brew.
The aroma is dark roasted malt with some rich cacao notes as well. Not sweet though and only like a 85% chocolate bar. I dont get any hops on the nose of this brew and a sessionable ABV is also well hidden.
the first sip reveals a smooth textured average body with gentle spacious carbonation that rolls across my palate. Very easy drinking smooth brew.
Flavor is what I expect and is very enjoyable. I get some roasted malt but also a bit of light and sweet coffee and then back to dark cacao on the finish. Nice progression and depth for such a session brew. No hops anywhere that I can find and there is a bit of roasted flavor that lingers after each swallow.
This is a crushable and enjoyable stout that I would buy again. Especially when Im craving dark malt flavor but not huge ABVs. A nice treat!

Appearance: dark brown almost black in color with a 1/2" head that breaks down quickly.
Smell: loads of chocolate and roasted tones are picked up by the nose.
Taste: roasted malt, dark chocolate, prunes, and an earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smoother at the finish. Some dryness arrives late.
Overall: a good Irish stout that is well balanced and has a nice flavor profile.

Solid black, around a medium body with maybe just a bit too much carbonation but still a nice overall feel. Aroma is roasted malt,an earthy coffee smell, maybe a bit of dark chocolate. Taste is very similar,a bit sweet in a good way as well as mildly dry. Overall I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it and i think it is an excellent stout

Nice local work. Love to have this available at TEDxAsburyPark.
a) Pours a dark brown body with a one finger tan top, that has loose bubbles, and lasts a bit and laces dots in my snifter.
s) I let it warm in my snifter as then the roast malt and classic dry Irish stout notes of peat fire, earth, coffee dark roast comes across.
t) Taste is classic, roasted malt, dark roast cold-brew coffee, peat fire, with a touch of chocolate sweetness. Balanced and would make a great black and tan.
f) Sessionable....easy drinking light feel, body, balanced clean finish.
o) Drink local, this stout delivers.
