This one was given as a gift, so Raul will be swift. The nice young lass that gave us this beer was a friend of Mrs. Raul’s. She slept on our couch for two weeks, but didn’t send us any congratulation on the birth of our child. That’s this beer to Raul.

Pours a pale gold with just slight haze and a medium head that left some streaks of lace. Nose is light for the style--lemon, hay, and noble hops--but not enough of it. Taste is disappointing due to a touch of skunky euro lager flavor (this is a 2-month old bottle from La Cave a Bulles, so it isn't a shelf turd). Grassy notes and rock candy (very little residual sweetness though). Fine mouthfeel. Overall, not a bad beer, but needs to be tweaked.
