From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON 05/15/18"
From the label: "Strawberry Hefeweizen"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a hazy, opaque, slightly beige and slightly pink color. It looks a bit like fresh squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice. There is only a momentary white head that fizzles out shortly. No head retention or lacing.
Aroma: It has a very odd smell. It smells a bit like Band-Aids. Smelling it further gives off a bit of plastic aroma. The only saving grace here is that the aroma isn't strong at all and that it is only present when inhaling deeply.
Taste: The beer tastes a bit meaty and slightly tangy. There is a lot of raw yeast flavor to the beer as well. Smacking the lips will give off a bit of fruity flavor but overall this beer isn't palatable.
Mouthfeel: It is lifelessly still on the palate. It feels thick and chewy but unrewarding. There is an unpleasant tartness to the beer.
Overall: I highly recommend skipping this one. I wouldn't buy it again.
