This chai spiced stout is smooth and delicious and one fantastic sipper. The beer is served a pitch black color with a brown foam head that lasts and lasts. The aroma is a wonderful mix of the chai spices, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, and oatmeal, producing an almost dessert like breakfast smell that tickles your nose. The taste is smooth heavy of oat and chocolate mixed with some almost milky like notes. The chai spices are subtle, but add a nice backdrop to the thick and roasty and oat tastes. For the heavy oatmeal and roasty tastes the chewy and thick nature of the body is nice and allows all the rich flavors to bath the tongue. Overall this is a fantastic and delicious one to try if you have the opportunity.
