Appearance- The beer is served in a snifter with a very hazy golden- amber color and a small white head of foam. The head fades rather fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the snifter.
Aroma - The smell is stronest of a lemongrass smell mixed with some tangerine and orange. Along with the citrus hop comes notes of a bready smell as well as some grass and herb.
Taste- The taste begins with a bready and slightly yeasty taste that has a decent sum of a lemon and citrus hop. As the flavor advances some light hop tastes of grass, floral, and herb come to the tongue. In the end a grapefruit sweetness and a bit of brown sugar come to the tongue leaving one with a citrus hop, but somewhat malty/sweet flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The brew is rather thick and chewy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Overall the feel balances the sweet and hoppy flavors rather well.
Overall - A rather tasty brew, but for me the sweetness was a little to high. A good brew to have, especially if you want something a bit more robust. Not a session, but as decent one/two and done brew.
