16oz can. Poured a slightly hazy, straw-yellow color with a small, fizzy, white head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of coriander, other spices and cracked wheat. Subtle bubblegum taste with spices and sweet wheat.

I had two Bruz beers one day, and this one at 5.5% tasted more boozy than the Tripel that clocked in at 9.5%. But it's a solid witbier, not quite as fruity as something like White Rascal. It's very light in color and is a great drinkable beer on a warm day. I liked the tripel I tried a bit better, but this one's a good part of their regular lineup.

Bought two cans of Dame from Beer Drop. I'm liking Bruz more... but I need to stop comparing them to the Belgian masters because Dame Blanche has some very thoughtful innovations.

While I prefer a really active yeast billowing foam and swirling protein, Dame doesn't do that. But, its Smells introduces the innovations... but I'm not really sure what's coming other than the dominant lemon. But in the Taste, I get the innovations strongest: mostly a drying tea-like sensation backed by a backbone from a malt-bill that prepped the wheat differently. Dame is both refreshing and fine at the table.

OA: I'm liking Bruz, this being my fifth and probably the best at the table. Bruz is dedicated to interpreting the Belgian tradition and I will get more from Beer Drop.

their house wit, and one of their best beers, i have really enjoyed this one quite a lot. its a bit different than convention, as it brings a more unique malt bill. its still mostly driven by a dry flavorful pils malt and a pale wheat, but there is something else in here giving is a richer body than i am used to, some torrified wheat or oats or something, its a great texture to introduce to this style. tons of citrus too, bitter orange, oily orange essence, and a light spice profile that highlights that. subtle tea-like dried herbal character, not hoppy at all, maybe from the yeast. some bright belgian notes to this yeast strain, which to me tastes and feels healthy and robust, efficient too, as this finishes nice and dry. slight green apple, elderflower, and lemon too, lots of layers for a beer so drinkable. i usually find these too belgiany and spiced to be refreshing, but this is scaled back in the right areas and complex in its own way, but just so drinkable too. really quality beer, one of their best!
