Bought two cans courtesy of Beer Drop, my favorite supplier of the glorious evolution in Colorado crafting.
This is Bruz' fourth dubbel on BA, which is quite a lot for a five year old. Bruz is an inventive interpreter of Belgians.
This Rye is only slightly spicy, but was just enough to complement my latest batch of ratatouilles that had a bit more fennel than usual; so the rye served to soothe that spice.
8/17/21 Expanding this review with the second can, I already know that Rye Rye is worth having a third time... which means Bruz, very prolific, needs to produce Rye another time. I actually can give them little advice on the recipe. While the foam is sufficient, more swirling proteins might help. And while many other ales that use rye use a lot more rye than Rye, Bruz has the malt bill about right. This Rye is refreshing, malty, satisfying. I wish I had more Rye; but I certainly will buy more Belgian-inspired from Bruz. A Votre Sante' !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
