Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival, One finger white head was present and dissipates to a nice ring around the glass, and a thin covering. Body is a lightly hazy golden straw with light and lazy fine carbonation. Some lacing is left.
Aroma is hoppy yet belgian. Nothing too intense but a nice aroma of noble hops with spicy amd fruity yeast character. Otherwise light.
Taste follows the smell, but is even more belgian while staying nicely light and crackery. Super refreshing taste without being too fruity. It's just crisp malty, lightly hoppy tasting with noble and light American hops.
Feel has a surprisingly long finish for the abv and stays crisp refreshing and full bodied. Perfect for a single.
Overall this is super sessionable, belgian, fresh, crisp, refreshing, and somehow even full bodied. This is a winner.

I bought two cans from Beer Drop.
Now my 10th Bruz in 9 months, I'm founding the Bruz-a-month club chapter for Chicagoland. (Anyone want to join?)
Bruz' Single does not disappoint. It is simple, balanced, almost elegant. While it is hoppier than, say, the two-thirds of the 80 BPAs I've had, I should consider the hoppy-palate of its market in Denver and Colorado's Front Range. Yet, the hops are well-contained; Single was suitable at the table, as the style was intended. Its lemon-forward presence paired well with pasta and a red sauce and a late summer salad. All good.
I like many of Bruz' interpretations of the Belgian styles and am glad that they focus on understanding this tradition. It shows. Not always brilliant ales, but almost always good.
10/21/21 Had the second can. This can also paired well with pizza. Edited the above review and am satisfied. I'm keeping count over @ UnTappd. (And I'm ordering more Bruz from Beer Drop.)

Gold color, slightly hazy. Tiniest of white heads.
Aroma of earthy hops, some sweet malt.
Taste of lemon, biscuit.
Light-bodied.
An easy to drink beer.
