This is quite an interesting beer. It's a collaboration, a blend of a Belgian brewer's Flemish Sour Ale and a Bruz spelt Saison, topped off with 1000 pounds of Palisade peaches. I struggled with picking a style from the BA choices. Is it a farmhouse ale - saison? Or a Flanders Red? I wound up going with "Fruit and Field", because the contribution of those Palisade peaches are front and center in the taste and smell. But it's also unquestionably a farmhouse saison, with a good amount of Belgian funk, and it's a bit tart as well, a nod to the Flanders side of things.
You'll have to hustle to find it. It just came out recently, and Bruz says they didn't make much. I got my bottle at a liquor store in Durango.
HIghly recommended for fans of saisons, Belgian sours, and/or especially Palisade peaches.
