Copenhagen 25/10 2024. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. White can with a dark rendering of a man falling in between dark and somber buildings.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam completely obscuring the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of overripe Stone fruits mingling with citric and sharp notes. Mango and peach. Touch of fermentation and alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Sharp DIPA with a touch of fermentation.

Appearance: Pours a murky goldenstraw capped by a two finger head; good retention with shards, squiggles and dots left behind
Smell: Bright and juicy, with sugary guava paste and grapefruit tones
Taste: Juice flavors forward, bringing melon, guava and blueberry; through the middle, grapefruit pith adds some bitterness to the mid-palate, but the finish leans juicy along with some bubblegum tones
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body; somewhat creamy with moderate carbonation
Overall: Quite juicy with just enough bitterness to please the palate
Thanks, zid, for the opportunity

Pours a murky orange with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is juicy and sweet with notes of melon ice cream, orange juice, mango, grapes and orange sorbet.
Taste is juicy, sweet and a bit dank. Notes of melon, orange juice, mango, grapes, gooseberries and grass. Very hoppy with a nice bitterness. No hop burn to speak of, despite the intense flavor and hoppiness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, pillowy, chewy and well carbonated.
Overall, a fantastic NE DIPA, nails pretty much everything.

Canned on 8/31/22; consumed on 9/22/22
Pours a turbid, dark sunflower-gold body capped with three fingers of fluffy, white foam; solid head retention yields a paper-thin cap, creamy, moderately-sized collar, and a generous, haphazard array of webby/spotty lacing dotted across the walls of the glass.
Aroma bursts with sticky guava resins upfront, soon giving way to contrasts of dead grass and almost waxy moss undertones; orange peel meets grapefruit over the middle, while tinges of bubblegum embrace a wheaty weight on the back end of the bouquet.
Taste opens to grapefruit and guava, with fresh wheat intertwined with wet moss and grass over the mid-palate as fruity resins and musty pineapple resume a sweeter prominence on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel delivers a medium-full body and a fluffy spritz of fuller carbonation, producing a dry prickle and wispy grit over the mid-palate and leaving juicy resins oncoming through the back end, where a creaminess peaks through the finish and a vague, hoppy twang lingers.
A full, weighty profile laden in resins and uncompromisingly deft on the tongue; another prime sampling of the effortless contrasts in flavor and texture Root + Branch pulls from their NEIPAs.
