Copenhagen 5/11 2024. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Can in Root + Branch's usual austere black and white design this time with the snout of a Bear.
Pours opaque. hazy. golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as paper thin and almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with sharp and zesty citrus fruit Light touch of pine trees. Pineapple and peach. Grapefruit and lemon. Resin.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric without being searing. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Pleasurable, smooth drink.
