The New heftier-hopped IPA from Belle Isle Brewpub
A ~ Pumpkin-Orange color with a soapy looking head. Actually looked really quality when it poured.
S ~ Bit of tree bark here and there, Graham cracker-like malt, some earthy-dirt aromas. Not much of a nose to be found.
T ~ Very herbaceous, with alot of dried grass, garden mulch, and soil flavors. Some dried apricot, black pepper and steamed vegetable flavor as well...No Lemon zest flavor to be found like in the the house IPA.
M ~ Oily and herby. Drinks like an English IPA as a matter of fact.
D ~ While I really like the appearance of this one, and It certainly is drinkable, I won't be refilling my growler anytime soon.
