a majorly unique brew here, pear cider inspired brewed with pear and passion fruit and chamomile and elderflower, sounds refreshing and cool on paper, and despite it being kind of overly feminine and highly floral, its not bad, and actually hits the spot in the morning sun when its hot out and i have nothing better to do. im not sure this has much value outside of a florida climate and a vacation mindset, but no need to be overly critical. the pear is a little syrupy and not all the way natural to me, but i like the flowery elements and i can definitely appreciate some hops here in both aroma and flavor. sort of a jasmine thing, perfumy but appealing to me in a summery context, faint tartness, even yeasty wildness in here too, some of that attributable to the passion fruit, but also there is something interesting happening here with the yeast and it works. i wish it dried this out a little more overall, but its very well carbonated and when its ice cold its refreshing enough. i couldnt consumer too many of these, but one is a cool experience. i am not aware of anything else quite like this out there...

12 oz bottle from Florida.
Look: Pours with a hazy dark amber body with visible fine-grained carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass. The off-white head is semi-durable but leaves little lacing.
Aroma: like a perry mixed with a golden ale. Complex.
Flavor: Perry plus mild pale ale. Hints of pear cider and other soft, ripe fruits. Light, herbal spicing in the finish and aftertaste.
Feel: Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: quite fruity, this seems to be a well executed mix of styles; but I'd prefer having a perry and an ale separately, and this is a mix that certainly won't appeal to everyone.
