Poured into frosty mug provided by my server at the Meers restaurant. Thin head, lively lace. Color is very pale.
Nose is wheat and hops.
Taste is mostly hops. Nothing else sticks out too much. Gives it a decent crispness.
Mouth is fine. Mellow after initial crisp.
Pairs fine with the famous restaurant's burger. Nothing overly remarkable, but there's nothing bad to deter a patron from making it a part of the dining experience. Ostensibly based on a Choctaw recipe.

L: Very hazy gold, certainly lives up to the name of the beer. Thick head that dissipates evenly.
S: Kind of a dry smell, hard to describe. Its subtle and faint though and doesn't leave a strong impression.
T: Surprisingly good. I love wheat beer, but never had a pale. I feel like it brings together the best of the IPA world with some gentle bitterness and the best of the wheat world with some good thick, wheat flavors. Sharp flavor with some good malt that gives way to an nearly hefe-like quality.
F: Matches the flavor, its sharp on the tongue in the beginning but mellows out.
O: Pretty good in my opinion. Sadly did not drink it with the burger but I fully plan on it next time.

The perfect beer for an Oklahoma boy. What a wonderful pairing to the hamburgers at meers. Truly heaven on earth for a blonde beer. Perfection.

“Meers Gold Beer” is brewed by Pete’s Place / Krebs Brewing, under the name Choc Beer for Meers Store and Restaurant in Meers, OK. This brew is conditioned in 22oz bottles and is meant to exclusively compliment the “World Famous Meersburger”.
A - Very clear, lightest of straw. Stark white head leaves quickly. Not much lace.
S - Slightly malty, straw.
T - Like a macro lager, but a little richer. Malt is there a bit more, and hops more evident.
M - Light body, ok balance.
D - Not my beer of choice if just having a beer. However, it is probably pretty good with that burger :)
