Bright gold color; lots of active carbonation; thick, creamy and fluffy white head; spidery fingers of lacing shroud the glass inside. Strong esters and powdery yeast aroma; lemony; floral and grassy notes. Powdered sugar sweetness with a light fruity taste; sweet peach; some mild alcohol notes; nice underlying hop bitterness. Heavy body; thick and sweet on the palate.
Poured from a crowler acquired at the brewery 4-15-2019. I am not a big tripel fan, yet this offering is mighty tasty and satisfying across the board. It brings nice balance and complexity to things and doesn't kill you with an overdose of treacly sweetness. Very nicely done.
