Jet black body; thin tan head. Impressive notes of charred grain and dark roast coffee; chocolate notes. Dark and bitter chocolate; boozy and bitter; nice sweet counterpoint to things. Heavy body; oily; slightly dry finish.
An awesome one-off beer, rich and luscious and sporting nice Heaven Hill barrel-aging to add complexity to the outstanding base beer.
