Ink black body; no head per se. Deep, dark roasted grain scent; sweet; dates; a twinge of vanilla. Heavy bitter chocolate flavor; some vanilla sweetness; big charred grain and hop bitterness. Heavy body; slick and oily with some boozy warmth.
A respectable RIS; the vanilla bean presence is a little subdued and the lack of any appreciable head us a bit of a let down, but taste-wise, it ain't too shabby.
