Pale lemon-yellow body; partially hazy; coarse, slow-rising carbonation; thick, frothy head, white and semi-creamy. Mild tropical fruit aroma with a subdued bread crust note. Very mild citrus note offsetting a light biscuit malt presence; very light bitterness. Medium-light body; crisp with a very low-key tart juiciness; semi-dry overall.
Considering the use of rice and yuzu used in the creation of this beer, it ain't bad. It delivers the lightness and a touch of non-traditional fruitiness to the palate, and it is light and refreshing. Not bad for what it is. Much better from my previously reviewed sample from a growler and apparently meeting the intent of the brewers.
Pouring temperature: 42 °F; canning data: unavailable

Clear, light yellow body; lively carbonation; thin yet lasting head. Light cereal grain scent; faint herbal notes. Cracker malt taste with a slight citrus quality; decent bitterness; juicy. Medium-light body; crisp; not too dry, not too sweet mouthfeel.
I got this beer in a growler a few days ago, so perhaps that may have a bearing on the appearance and aroma. I'm told that yuzu is a type of Japanese lime. Taste-wise, it's an interesting combination and generally works. perhaps if it's still on tap next week, I'll get it on draft and see how it compares. In any case, it's a nice beer, easy drinking and refreshing.
