I didn’t think WC IPAs were meant to be hazy but this one is. Still, the aroma was excellent as was the flavor, so the two most important attributes were good, the rest reminds me of a NE IPA.
If it wasn’t billed as WC, I would have ranked it a bit higher. Or maybe they gave me their NE IPA by mistake. Who knows. It was tasty.

Looks are about the same yet the aroma is more prominent and pine-like. Taste and body also seem the same.
So, slight bump in the smell rating and overall.
---------
Beautiful clear amber body; sparse carbonation yet head is lasting and creamy. Nice aroma if a bit muted; a touch of pine. Well-balanced flavor; light malt backbone; a touch of sweetness; bracing hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp and coarse; semi-dry overall.
A rock solid west coast IPA, definitely hop-forward with very good depth sbd bslance throughout.
