Crystal clear, medium gold colored body; sparse, slow-rising carbonation; thick, frothy head, semi-creamy texture and long lasting. Malt-forward aroma with a touch of earthy, spicy hop presence; a bit phenolic; slight booziness. Medium-heavy body; nice residual sugar feel; subtle dryness.
This double honey India pale ale is interesting yet ultimately fall a bit flat in overall enjoyment. The honey character is really hidden and there seems to be a bit of harshness in the overall taste. Looks great, tastes - well...
