This beer is so good, it's got a cult-like following. It's nutty and malty, with noble hops (Saaz, Tettnang) providing a bit of floral nose. Have as much as you can handle and don't let anyone question your Alternative Lifestyle.

Dark copper body, clear; respectable carbonation; thin, frothy off-white head, lasting. Outstanding toasted grain aroma; roasted nuts. Nice, toasted caramel flavor; rich and malty; light spiciness; mild to moderate hop bitterness; clean. Medium body; gently coats the palate with an earthy sweetness.
This is a spot-on altbier. My kind of brown ale, old world-style.
