Revisited December 14th, 2025
Pours a dark yet clear reddish-brown color, nearly opaque in the glass; thick, light khaki head, lasting; dense and somewhat creamy texture cap; . Christmas cookie dough sweetness on the nose with notes of cinnamon and allspice. The taste amplifies the nose with additions of pumpkin and brown sugar; cocoa powder and baker's chocolate. Medium-heavy mouthfeel; smooth and rounded feel on the palate.
This is a delicious holiday beer. As for the gourds used to make the beer, I can certainly detect pumpkin. Regardless, this is a tasty, mainly malt-forward beer, well-balanced and earthy in character with a decent alcohol content that remains deep in the background.
ABV: 7.4%; pouring temperature: 52.6 °F; bottling info: 2025 (46 / 156)

Dark copper body, clear; little head present, small circle of foam around the inside edge of the glass. Smells of snickerdoodles and light maple sugar. The flavor follows the aroma: snickerdoodles, cinnamon, nutmeg; light maple syrup; a light touch of overall bitterness. Medium-heavy body; light coarseness; medium-heavy residual sugar feel; semi-dry at the finish.
Generally a nice beer as far as taste goes, but does seem a bit lackluster in appearance.
